International SOS helped address an energy company's employee mental health and anxiety concerns.
Problem
Our client provides floating production solutions to the offshore energy industry, over the full product lifecycle. The company is market leading in leased floating production systems delivered to date, with multiple units currently in operation and has unrivalled operational experience in this field.
Across their workforce and operational sites, they were experiencing mental health and anxiety issues, employee burnout, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) issues as well as legislation concerns.
Solution
To address these broad scope of challenges, we began by setting a company strategy. We reviewed and built an organisational response including a broad considerations of resources required, proactive action planning as well as incorporating mental health components into the employee health policy.
Impact
Our global health advisors carried out a gap analysis against mental health and wellbeing best practices, held a stakeholder workforce and supported in the implementation of their company strategy and plans.
The gap analysis also identified the need for an Occupational Psychologist which we staffed on site for their employees.
